In March 2023 we spent two weeks in the shipyard.

Every year we spend a few weeks/months preparing the ship for the new season. This includes checking materials, repairs, upgrades and allows our lady to stay fit so we can continue sailing together. Before visiting the shipyard, we started to gradually touch up surfaces, remove rust, sand, paint, replace ropes and other materials.

This winter we planned to periodically pull the boat out of the water with a crane, spent a few days on dry land and had experts check the bottom of the boat and apply a fresh new coat of paint. Gladly it went all smooth.

Bigger investment for us this year was letting make 3 new booms (bezaan, main boom and jibboom).

Now awaiting us the last touches including painting the deck and hull. And we are looking forward to sail again!
