The more the better. But under 8 people, it's gonna be a little tough. And you know the saying, "Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much".
The boss is always the nature (and the Captain :D). Depends on wind and the curse. But no worries, you will find a moment to chill, enjoy the view, search for seals, drink a cup of coffee, eat a snack or whatever you find nice.
Yes, children are very welcome. We had all ages on board. The youngest child so far was 5 months old. It's always the parents' decision, of course. Don't be afraid to email us for more information!
Yes, more than enough. It is compulsory for children under 13 y.o. to wear a life jacket.
Yes you can, it is normal drinking water on board (don't drink the sea water tho).
There are 2 showers on board. For longer showers you can aswell use the public showers in each of the ports.
We are pleased to inform you that we have toilets on board similar to the ones you have at home. Only they are more sensitive, so it is important to throw in only what belongs there and a little bit of toilet paper. :)
The kitchen is well equipped for all basic cooking, baking, food preparation, food storage (fridge, freezer, basic storage place).
That being said, nature is the boss. Weather, conditions and the crew are the ones who decide. Captain will always discuss all options and possible alternatives with you. If the wind strength is over 7bf we will stay in harbour and find an another fun stuffs to do.
That would be really kind and we'd be grateful for a small snack during the day and would be happy to join you for dinner. We sail during the day and don't have much time to cook. :)
It all depends on the situation, but yes, we'll be happy to show you what it's like to steer a 110 tonne lady and let you experience it.
Yes, for coals! BBQ on anchor is recommended!
You can smoke on board. But not near the sails and certainly not below deck. Oh and don't throw anything in the Mother Sea. :)
